Verizon Connect
Verizon Connect, a part of Verizon, provide fleet tracking software to SMB’s worldwide. 1 million plus customers use a range of Verizon Connect’s products on a weekly basis to assist them in running their business.
I worked across the business: on an innovation project from inception, in the Design System team and within the established core of the product - Live Map.
My roles - design
• Responsible for delivering delightful customer experiences in my clan, which included; running quantitative & qualitative research, collaborating with product and developers to create concepts, creating final designs for mobile web and desktop, designing for all supported languages, providing help & support for customers and iterating after release with customer data and feedback.
• Developed and wrote documentation for the entire company for accessible web practices in alignment with WCAG AA and Section 508 of US Federal Law.
• Created Definitions-of-Done for design deliverables for my clan.
• Trained in Kanban style delivery of customer value.
• Ran a Design Guild Chapter which was responsible for organising and hosting recurring, design department talks.
• Finished top 5 in a company wide hackathon.
